Im a country girl.

(youll have to go to that site to see the video--its worth it)

love this! country music just makes me feel good! I realize not everyone likes country music, and maybe it was just cause I was raised listening to it that I love it so much, but I really do. A lot of people say it just talks about your ex and your dog and breaking up and yadda yadda- and yes it does talk some about that kind of stuff but it all relates to your everyday life. No other music (besides christian) relates directly to your life. No matter what mood Im in, there is a country song that will describe my life at that exact moment and i LOVE it!
That is all. :)

New Years eve 2010: Pajama Jam

So there had been talk this year about New Years eve and how we wanted to do some type of pajama theme. There were a couple different options for what kind of pajamas but in the end we just decided to do any type of pajamas, Shane and I went with funny ones!
Unfortunately, I had to work until 6 on NYE. When I got off work, Shane and I headed out to Wake Forest and stopped by his parents real quick to tell them "happy new year" and to see Shane's mom since she had just had surgery. After that we headed out to Youngsville to Tiff and Gerald's house. We had a great time- complete with dance party, new kids on the block, flip cup, lots of appetizers, champagne toast, and great friends!!! We are thinking about keeping the Pajama Jam as a tradition- mainly because we were all so comfortable all night and didn't have to worry about getting all dressed up! it was nice!! Here are just a few pics of the evening!
